Announcing our Latest Promotion
We are thrilled to announce our recent promotion to the BSE leadership team! Travis Jennings, PE, has been promoted to Associate at BSE Structural Engineers. Travis is a project manager and senior structural engineer with over 9 years of experience. Travis graduated from Kansas State University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
Travis provides leadership on a variety of projects including commercial, education, mixed-use and retail, warehouse and industrial, and exterior façade systems. In addition, Travis provides management of the production staff, including mentoring, scheduling and development of standards. Since joining BSE Structural Engineers in 2016, Travis has provided design on multiple large scale, complex tilt-up concrete structures and has become a leader of BSE Structural Engineer’s tilt-up concrete work. Travis serves as a member and Treasurer for the Tilt-Up Industry Leaders of Tomorrow (T.I.L.T.) Young Professional Group for the Tilt-Up Concrete Association.

BSE Hosts Annual Blood Drive
BSE Structural Engineers was proud to host our 4th annual blood drive on September 11, 2019 in partnership with the Community Blood Center of Kansas City. Our annual drive is one of many ways that the BSE team likes to give back and a rewarding way to be a part of saving lives in our community.
The Community Blood Center of Kansas City serves nearly 60 area hospitals. They need 500 donors each day to meet these area hospitals’ needs and there is an urgent need for donations. For more information about hosting your own blood drive or finding a location to donate: https://savealifenow.org/.

Announcing our Newest Promotion
We are proud to announce our recent promotion to the BSE leadership team! Josh Huenefeld, PE, SE, has been promoted to Associate at BSE Structural Engineers. Josh is a structural engineer and project manager with over 6 years of experience. Josh was an intern with BSE for two summers while in college and then joined BSE full time after graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University.
Josh provides leadership on a variety of projects including commercial, mixed-use, multi-family housing, recreation, senior living, and warehouse and industrial. Josh’s attention to detail, technical excellence and ability to successfully lead the design team through the design and coordination of projects has made him an essential part of the team. In addition, Josh provides mentoring and training for employees, along with developing and maintaining design standards.
