Structural engineering analysis, design and detailing of two multi-story, mixed-use apartment and office buildings with parking structures that included 175 apartment units and totalled 450,000 SF. The design of the office building portion of the project included steel framed structures with composite steel floor systems, steel roof framing and shallow concrete foundations. The design of the apartment building portion included steel framed structures with composite metal floor deck supported by cold-formed framed bearing walls, metal roof deck supported by cold-formed joists and shallow foundations. The parking structures consisted of precast concrete structures with precast double tee planks supported by precast columns and load-bearing walls.
