Structural engineering analysis, design and detailing of 45,000 SF medical facility. The framing system consisted of steel bar joist and metal deck framing supported by steel beams and HSS columns. The lateral system consists of both cold-formed shear walls and steel moment frames. The foundations were a conventional shallow foundation system. The project had several challenged, including a high-roof gym area, several site built roof screens, and (2) steel framed canopies.
