BSE Structural Engineers Continues to Grow!

We are pleased to announce the addition of five new employees to our growing firm!

BSE Structural Engineers welcomes back Casey Stallbaumer as a Structural Engineer. The previous two summers she worked with us as an intern. Casey will graduate from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering in August 2015.  When she is not diligently working Casey enjoys archery, baking, and reading. We are excited about Casey’s return and look forward to her future contributions to BSE!

Jorge Ochoa joins BSE Structural Engineers as a Structural Engineer.  Jorge graduated from Kansas State University May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.  Jorge interned previously at Balfour Beatty Construction and also has manual labor experience with a construction company.  He enjoys watching movies, cooking, baking and trying out new restaurants.  He has recently moved to Kansas City and is looking forward to exploring the city!

Prescovie Anderson also joins BSE Structural Engineers as a Structural Engineer.  Prescovie graduated from Oklahoma State University in May of 2015, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. Prescovie previously worked as an intern with Engineering Inc., in Oklahoma City, where he learned the basics of structural forensics and provided inspections for various commercial and residential structures.  Prescovie enjoys hiking, running, reading crime novels, playing video games, and trying new restaurants. Last year Prescovie completed his first half marathon.

Nora Henderson joins BSE as Office Manager. Nora has over eleven years in Administrative and Office Manager roles from two public accounting firms.  She attended Emporia State University.  Nora enjoys cooking and baking.  She also loves to spend time outdoors including hunting, fishing, gardening, going for walks, sporting events or spending time around their fire pit with family and friends.  Her most recent endeavor is training for a 5K in the fall and then plans to work towards a 10K in the spring.

Jill Nolkemper joins our team in the Accounting Department.  Jill has over 20 years of experience in accounting and management.  Jill received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri Kansas City and received her Masters of Business Administration from Rockhurst University.  Jill enjoys reading, walking, cooking and finding bargains at garage sales.  She and her husband, Doug, also enjoy spending time attending their three kids’ activities.

BSE Structural Engineers Welcomes Two Summer Interns

Caitlin Anderson graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and will be graduating in December 2015 with a Masters in Architectural Engineering with a focus in structures.  Her previous experience includes working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for two years as an engineering trainee. She primarily worked with construction documentation as well as assisted on various military and civilian projects.  When not working at BSE or working on her masters degree, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to attend concerts, sporting events, and spend time outdoors.

Ryan Duren will graduate from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering in 2016 and a Masters in Architectural Engineering with a focus in structures in 2017. Ryan previously worked for Ayars & Ayars, a design build general contractor that focuses in pre-engineered metal buildings and tilt up concrete. He has also worked for Architecture-Etcetera, an architecture firm that teams with Ayars & Ayars for design build projects.  Ryan is from Lincoln, Nebraska and enjoys staying active and being outdoors with his friends and family.  Ryan’s favorite sport is baseball and he enjoys helping coach baseball teams from his high school during the summer. Ryan also enjoys playing golf.
